A noise survey was undertaken on the site to quantify noise levels from the nearby A21. Using the results of the survey, an acoustic model of the proposed site was created using a computer-based noise prediction program to accurately calculate noise levels across the site. Working alongside the design team, Suono made suggestions of building orientation, facade treatment and localised screening to external amenity areas to ensure that suitable noise conditions could be achieved both internally and externally throughout the development.
